What is a PLN?
PLN stands for Personal Learning Network. In short, a PLN is a network of individuals/organizations that a teacher or other professional has developed in order to further their knowledge about their profession. A PLN will often involve actual interactions with others such as members of your department at school or people you meet at conferences. However, social media has made the development of a PLN exponentially easier by creating an avenue for connecting individuals who might never be able to meet face to face. Twitter, Pinterest, and many other platforms can be used to create networks that will help you quickly get solutions to virtually any question or problem you may have.
